Over the past year, I have been recording 24 short stories which are all set on the same day in the same place — a 24 hour coffee shop called Winky’s. (Little did I know when I named it that that David Lynch’s diner in “Mulholland Drive” was also called Winky’s. Hence, homage?)
In any event, I am presently editing the recording and hope to have CDs available by Christmas 2010. I would like drivers in L.A. gridlock to listen to them when they get tired of music, NPR, or cell phone conversing.
Just sit back and hear a short story. I figure listening is easier than reading. Although I might eventually publish the stories too. But that remains to be, uh, seen.
